The calculation stays deterministic
AI does not perform the carbon calculation. Figures are produced by deterministic code from recorded inputs, and the receipt proves which inputs and which method produced them.
That is what makes the output defensible: an assessor can reproduce it. A model that re-derives numbers on request cannot offer that.
